James Hursthouse

James Hursthouse is CEO / Owner of Online Game Services Inc. (OGSI), a San Jose based Game Service Provider that offers hosting and other services tailored to the needs of the online game industry. Prior to moving to the US in June 2004, James spent over ten years in Japan, most recently as a director at Solid Networks KK., a Japanese company that has been hosting MMOG since 1999. A familiar figure at conferences throughout the Asian region, he has a large network of contacts in both the North American and Asian markets and was responsible for a range of licensing and other deals with companies across Asia. OGSI's current client base includes a number of Korean / Asian based game publishers.

James is also a member of the steering committee for the IGDA Online Games SIG, and editor of the IGDA Online Game Quarterly. He also recently moderated an event for the Chinese Software Professionals Association on the game market in China, and has spoken at numerous events on games.
